Call for Special Issue Proposals – DRIEMS Business Review
DRIEMS Business Review welcomes proposals for Special Issues on emerging, relevant, and impactful themes in business, management, commerce, economics, entrepreneurship, sustainability, technology, and allied interdisciplinary areas.
Special Issues are intended to encourage focused academic dialogue on contemporary topics that possess strong theoretical, empirical, managerial, and policy relevance. The journal invites academicians, senior researchers, and domain experts to propose Special Issues capable of attracting high-quality scholarly contributions from national and international authors.
Scope of Special Issue Proposals
A Special Issue proposal may focus on areas such as:
- Emerging trends in business and management
- Digital transformation and artificial intelligence in business
- Sustainable development, ESG, and responsible management
- Future of work, careers, and human resource transformation
- Consumer behaviour in digital and emerging markets
- Entrepreneurship, start-ups, and innovation ecosystems
- Financial inclusion, fintech, and banking transformation
- Supply chain resilience and operations excellence
- Business education and management pedagogy
- Indian management practices and emerging economy perspectives
Special Issue Proposal Should Include
Prospective Guest Editors are requested to submit a brief proposal containing the following:
- Proposed title of the Special Issue
- Rationale and significance of the theme
- Objectives and scope of the Special Issue
- Indicative topics and sub-themes
- Details of proposed Guest Editor(s)
- Expected contribution to business and management scholarship
- Tentative timeline for call for papers, review, and publication
Review of Special Issue Proposals
The Editorial Team of DRIEMS Business Review will review all Special Issue proposals. Approval will be based on the relevance, originality, academic significance, feasibility, and alignment of the proposed theme with the aims and scope of the journal.
